Multiple categories Problem

  • Hello,

    I have published a post in multiple categories and one of the categories is selected as primary but in the breadcrumb, it’s showing the secondary category.
    However, the post permalink is showing the right primary category in the URL.

    I saw one of your old replies in the forum, you referred to the plugin https://mtekk.us/extensions/breadcrumb-navxt-paths/ to solve this problem.

    So If I purchase and activate this plugin, will it automatically change the breadcrumb path of all old posts where the secondary category was showing in the path?
    OR would I still require to edit each post to achieve it?

    It depends on what is implementing the primary category feature on your site (this is a feature that is not present in WordPress core). If that the primary category feature is implemented using a plugin which is supported by the extension you linked to, then things will probably just work after installing/activating the extension. If you are not using one of the supported plugins, you’ll likely have to edit each post.
