multiple categories on post

    i have assigned a widget for recent posts for a category and the posts in that category (apples), i have also assigned a widget for recent posts for a category and the posts in that category (oranges)
    so when i publish a post to both these categories it shows both widgets in that posts.
    i dont want both widgets to show only one. How can i do that ?
