I’d like to report multiple erros/bugs that I encountered after upgrading the plugin to the latest version (2.0.1). I now updated to 2.0.2 but those errors have not been resolved.

    • Translation of some product names with qTranslate-X ([:en]Text[:]) are no longer resolved. Interestingly, it works for some and doesn’t work for others. Couldn’t find a system here.
    • qTranslate-X translation in the footer are no longer resolved.
    • Generation of the PDF Invoice in the order list view works, on the detail page of the order, it doesn’t. It will show a html page with some of the information on it, but not all, and no PDF is created. Same goes for the packing slip
    • Bulk discounts set by the WooCommerce Bulk Discount plugin are no longer displayed. It was like it is in the cart: Crossed out original price, discounted price in bold green next to it.

    Hello Tilman,
Thank you for your feedback, I’m sorry you’re having these issues.

    1) & 2) We do not support qTranslate-X, so any integrations that you have with that plugin should be addressed to the qTranslate-X developers.

    3) I can’t reproduce this, but I suspect this is also a qTranslate-X issue. This was already not working in 1.X because qTranslate-X breaks the url (adding an encoded language parameter to it). This is a qTranslate-X bug because this parameter is added outside of the PDF invoice plugin.

    4) It’s possible that the WooCommerce Bulk Discount plugin needs to be updated to be compatible.

Unfortunately all of these issues are outside of my control, but if the third party developers need any information from me in order to resolve this, tell them to email me at [email protected] and I’ll do my best to help!

Thanks a lot for the fast response! I downgraded to 1.6.6, now the qTranslate-X features are working again. That is why I thought it was a PDF Invoices problem. For now, it poses no big problem for me. I will inform the qTranslate-X people about this.

Thanks for the help, and sorry for the bugs that might not be in your control.

Hi! 1) and 2) are indeed a PDF invoice problem because these settings fields are now saved as an array instead of a string (that’s actually to allow for better multilingual support, Professional supports both WPML & Polylang). It’s not really a bug in the PDF Invoice plugin, but an incompatibility with the current qTranslate-X version.

The actual bug is with the url in the order details page. That was there even in 1.6.6 (at least I received reports from this exact behavior months before). URL looks something like this:

    wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=generate_wpo_wcpdf&template_type=invoice&order_ids=13938%3Flang%3Dnl&_wpnonce=8df066554d

Note the %3Flang%3D bit – this is added by qTranslate-X
