Can this plugin accept 6 bookings per timeslot (1 hour) where for example someone books four rides from 1pm-2pm and then two are left over (1pm-2pm) for another person to come along and book? I.e. partial bookings? With payments done appropriately? I.e. to the first booker and then the second?

  • Hi @noether,

Greetings and thanks for your question!

The plugin can allow multiple, simultaneous bookings for a single service provider by way of “dummy” service providers.

Here’s a great tutorial explaining how that works:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjOqzODIO7c&list=PLV1BcivFAIdvk-1xYU5nBHcwrbTY-WgWy&index=5

With this free version, there’s a limit of 3 service providers so you’d be able to take a maximum of 3 bookings with it.

Does that “dummy” feature sound about like what you’re looking for?

    Cheers,
    David

Ok, so if I follow correctly, the service provider in the example here could be designated “Lunchtime Ride” (and it goes from 1-2pm and there are 6 horses available)

Can you tell me where (under which tab?) I would enter the max. capacity of 6 horses so that multiple bookings are possible for that timeslot? e.g. if someone books 2 horses, then another guy books 1 and the last guy books 3 horses?

I think that’s all I need to know. I’ll then get the free version, test it and if all ok, get the paid version.

    Thanks for help,

    Martin

    Hi @martin,

Thanks for your patience here! The capacity in this case would be limited based on the number of “dummy” providers you create. So for 6 available slots, you’ll want to create 6 service providers, with 5 of them being “dummies”, linked with the 1st one.

    Does that make sense?

    Cheers,
    David
