Multiple Blogs, One Main Page Magazine

    I am new to wordpress and starting a magazine. It will have about 10 blogs/ sections, but i want to have a mainpage that will show the most recent posts from all the blogs.

    I want to know the best procedure for going about this?

  • Assuming 10 blogs = 10 different categories, WP should be able to handle this without any problem. Simply ensure that your front page is set to display a posts page (which it should do by default following a fresh install) and choose a theme that is geared towards bloggers rather than a content-managed web site.

    the blogs are actual blogs and not different categories. Each blog will have its own categories for organization.

    I ended up getting WPMU and a plug in called sitewide tags which pulls posts from all the other blogs so it can be displayed on the main blog.
