Multiple blogs?

  • Hello,

    I just launched the blog on my website and am thrilled. Really. So, I’m thinking that the blog format would also be dandy for several other ‘departments’ (magazine term) I have on the site such as news, bio, etc.

    So…can I launch multiple blogs with the one software package installed on my server? I realise this is likely a stupid question, but don’t worry, I have lots of stupid questions.

    Those other departments can be set via categories.

    No you cannot with the single WP installation. You can launch multiple blogs by:
    1. multiple installations of single WP
    2. use WP Multi-User version

    It really depends on many factors.

    Thanks! I use static pages for some and categories for others. I’ll check out the multi-user version also.
