• Hello all, I’m trying to build the front page of my friends website from wix to wordpress, which can be seen here

As you can see there are several background images with full screen width, and text / images “on top” of them. I’ve done some research and I believe I need to do CSS3 background-image: url()

I’m using Suffusion theme, and was wondering if there’s a plugin of some sort?

  • That’s basic CSS youre talking about. Nothing new from CSS3. I doubt there is a plugin for something so basic. What you would probably need is a theme that already does that. I don’t know how you expect to get this done without knowing html, css, and pho though (the move from wix to wordpress) that’s why peoples careers are doing this. Good luck to you though

Oh I can do this, I’m just wondering if there’s a plugin with ‘short code”, or a page that’s already done it.

I was hoping for an interface so my friend can add new images, etc.
but since there isn’t, I’ll just have to add the code manually.

    thanks for your time.

You can always set it up with php so he can do what you are wanting in the admin. There are plenty of backbone frameworks out there that can give you a head start
