Hi guys! Thanx for your plug-in! We’d heard it was coming and so excited it’s finally landed. ??

One question I have before I jump in and start playing with it is weather or not your plugin supports multiple authors.

In our use-case, there are a small group of authors putting out content on Steem, but they work together and would like the ability to post to a single off-steem presence. That said, their posts should still associated with their personal accounts.

Does your plug-in active at the user or site level, and if it’s only at the site level, do you have plans to include user level activation?

    Thanx a bunch!
Really looking forward to all this. ??

    Hello !

The plugin is active at the site level. so everything will be posted to the same steem account.

There is currently no plan for an user activation but there is a plan to add a custom footer for a post so they can write their usernames.

ALthought after hearing about your use case, we could add an option to grab the poster’s username and add it at the end as a signature.

Tell me what you think about it. ??

No worries. No need to just through any hoops with this.
Just want to understand how your plug-in works before putting any pens to paper.
There was a LOT of talk leading up to this release and it was difficult to eyeball what was actually going to happen.

(I’m a long time presser and entirely new to Steem.)

If, however, this use-case intriguing to you, might I ask one more question?

    Is your plug-in Multi-Site compatible?
You can probably tell where I’m going with this question…

If your plugin can be used on individual sites in an WPMS environment, we should be able to accomplish what we’re looking for. Site level activation AND multiple authors in a single environment. (But each author would have their own site.)

    Might that work?
Thanx again for your time and consideration – and a CRAZY quick response!

Alright so it took me a bit of time to test it out but it’s done now.

Multisites are indeed supported. Which means that each of your authors could have their own site and publish to steem using their own steem account ??

Don’t hesitate if you have any more questions ??

    LOL!

See that? So you CAN do it and you didn’t even know it! ??
    Sweet!

It’ll be a bit before we start messing with it but we’ll keep you in the loop on everything and I’m sure we’ll come back with loads of wants and wishes and be a total pain in your butt.

I really appreciate all your time.

    Hi again @howofr!

So I’ve had the chance to install the plug-in in our environment and talk to users and the team and we’ve got some questions but they’re not really appropriate for the support forum.

What would be the best way to have a chat with you guys off the forum?

    Thanx again…
