Multiple Authors and Author's Notes

    Some of my users have requested both the ability to have multiple authors on one post and for a seperate area on the posting page to put authors notes. Are there any plans to include these in future versions of the plug-in?

    I’ve tried existing plug-ins to accomplish both of these, but I’ve not had good results with them.

    Author note can easily be added. I’ll put that on the list for an upcoming release.

    Multiple authors on the same post: I’ll look into what that would development that would require. I suspect it may be more than we want to take on at this point. I’ll report back when I have an answer.

    Thank you. For now, I’ve created a category in the taxonomy that I named “pen name”, for my users to be able to list all of the authors on a particular piece.

    We’ve got author note to be added in an upcoming release, but possibly not the very next one.

    As I suspected, multi-author functionality is a complex piece that we just can’t undertake now due to the time involved.
