• I am trying to create a 3 (or 4) column form in Contact Form 7. I figured out how to do 2 columns using custom CSS in the Stylesheet, and using the div id’s for “left” and “right” — I tried to edit this same CSS / form to have 3 columns, but cannot seem to figure out how.

    Any help would be extremely appreciated!

    Thank you.

  • Hi Jennifer,

    try this:

    <div class=”container”>
    <div class=”column-center”>Column center</div>
    <div class=”column-left”>Column left</div>
    <div class=”column-right”>Column right</div>
    </div>

    .column-left{ float: left; width: 33%; }
    .column-right{ float: right; width: 33%; }
    .column-center{ display: inline-block; width: 33%; }

    Thank you, Rene!

    Do I post this in the form, or in my stylesheet?

    Post the div stuff in the form editor of cf7. The column stuff must be in your style.css

    How do I have to put this in the form editor? I placed it like this in the cf 7 editor and put the css rules in my custom css. But it doesn’t work..

    <div class="container">
    <div class="column-left"><p>VCA-1<br />
        [select* VCA-1 "Nee" "Ja"] </p></div>

    <div class="column-center"><p>VCA-1 nummer<br />
        [text VCA-1Nummer] </p></div>

    <div class="column-right"><p>VCA-1 geldig tot<br />
        [text VCA-1GeldigTot] </p></div>
    </div>

    anyone fix and finally do more columns wiht CF7

    I want to thank you Renee for a simple solution that works. My search was exhaustive and I had to kiss a lot of frogs on the way before I found the thing that worked.

    Lol, well said:-) Your welcome. I am glad to hear your feedback.
