• Hey Guys,

    I’ve built an extensive Multipart Survey… but I started thinking…

    Somewhat delayed, I must admit…

    How can I track how far through a survey someone goes before abandoning the survey and never hits the Submit button?

    Thoughts on this, or is there a way your plugin already accomplishes this?

    Like a tracking pixel on many fields within the entire survey… reporting that the visitor to the survey answered — to a point.

    Gravity Forms has a new add-on in beta that will save an entry based on fields entered.

    As soon as it’s more stable, I’ll try to integrate this plugin with that.

    Hi Ronald,

    I have activated this Gravity Forms add-on “Partial Entries” (I believe this is the one you were referring to above) and your plugin. Any idea how we can create a Goal for a Partial Entry?

    @puregraphx,

    There’s no support for partial entries right now. I just haven’t had the time to dig in.

    Could a donation speed things up?

    @puregraphx,

    I looked at the code for Partial Entries and the only way to send data is via the measurement protocol with predefined goal values. In other words, you can’t set them the way that form submissions can.

    Since the conversion can only be sent on the server side, can you give me a use-case where this would be helpful?

    Thanks.

    Ronald

    Hi Ronald,

    I am truly sorry, but I don’t understand your question. We simply want to track when a Gravity Forms form has been partially submitted, via the Partial Entries add-on.
