    Hello,

how is multilingualism realised for e-mail dispatch. I can’t find any information on this.

Are there mo/po files for the German language?

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.

When you go to the plugin settings, you can go to “Contacts synchronisations”. When you click “List”, you can see “Groups” as well.

Groups are segments created in Prestashop. For example, you can create 3 groups :

    • First language
    • Second language
    • Third languages

You can associate each group to a specific list (so 3 groups to 3 lists).

About the last question, I am not sure to understand what you mean with mo/po files. Could you please ellaborate ?

    Best Regards,

    Alexis

Thank you for the quick reply.

I am actually concerned with the translation of the mail templates in the directory: /wp-content/plugins/mailin/inc/templates

There and in the code, only translations for the languages English and French are provided.

But I need German mail templates without changing the code in the plugin to avoid update problems.

The current workaround is to translate the temp.* files. This is not nice, because they will be overwritten with the next update.

Is there no solution that meets the current WordPress standards?

Also, there is no .pot file for the translation, so I had to use the broken French .po file as a base.

    Hi,

Thanks for your message. Unfortunately, we do not have a German version but I’ll pass it to my Product team for a better improvement of our features.

    Best Regards,

    Alexis
