    Hello,

I would like to ask you if it is possible to use the plugin in multilingual environment. I already translated it to slovak but I have problem with:
    1. Add to Cart button text: – it is only the text set on plugin page – “Request Quote”. Translation is not working.
    2. Place Order button text for Quotable Products – it is only the text set on plugin page – “Request Quote”. Translation is not working.
    3. Cart page Name for Quotable Products – it is only the text set on plugin page – “Cart”. Translation is not working.
    4. On checkout page is only the english text “Ask for Quote” and “Request Quote”-on button inspite there is the translation in slovak.

    I am using ver. 1.7.1, Loco translate 2.5.0, Polylang 2.9.1, Woocommerce 4.9.1

    Thanks
    Pavol

    Hi Pavol,

Apologies for the issues you are facing.

I have made some code changes and pushed them on a GitHub branch present at the link below:
    https://github.com/pinalj/quotes-for-woocommerce/tree/fixes-1.7.2

Can you kindly download the plugin copy from the branch and replace the existing one with the updated copy via FTP and check if it helps fix the issues?

Please let me know the results.

    Thanks,
    Pinal

    Hello Pinal,
thanks for the help. Unfortunately it doesn’t work.
I installed the plugin from beggining:
    1. Deleted the language files (SK)
    2. Deactivated and deleted plugin
    3. Installed plugin
    4. Replace the plugin files via FTP with the plugin from GitHub
    5. Created new language files (SK)

    Thanks,
    Pavol

    Hi Pavol,

Apologies for not getting back to you sooner on this. I tried replicating the issue using the below steps at my end:

    1. Installed WC 5.0.0
    2. Quotes 1.7.1
    3. Loco Translate 2.5.0
    4. Copied the nl-NL translation files in the plugin folder.
    5. Setup the site language to the same.
    6. Setup the plugin settings as: https://www.screencast.com/t/qs4q4Hp6
    7. Front end Checkout page: https://www.screencast.com/t/vBHC8d38

The Ask for Quote payment text & the Place Order text have been translated correctly. The same holds true for the Cart page name & the Request Quote button.

I presume I have done something differently. Can you kindly share the steps/setup which you have so I can replicate the issue at my end?

    Thanks,
    Pinal

    Hi Pinal,

    thanks for information.
I found where is the problem.
The translation files have to be located in author’s directory – plugins/quotes-for-woocommerce/languages/ (e.g. plugins/quotes-for-woocommerce/languages/quote-wc-sk_SK.po) and not in custom directory – languages/loco/plugins/.

So I relocated the translation files using Loco translate – RELOCATE functionality from Custom directory into Author’s directory and it works !

Thanks for your help and for nice plugin.
    Palo

Glad to know it’s working fine. It would help me immensely if you would consider leaving a review for the plugin here.

    Thanks,
    Pinal
