I love this page builder! ??

I did some pages with it and now I like to translate the “Tailor-designed-pages” with WPML. When I copy the page from the original language it seems to be fine, but I’m not able to edit the page in Tailor. Nothing of the “Tailer-elements” is recognized. How can I do that? Or do I need to start from scratch for every new language?

    Best,
    Michael

  • Hey Michael, I’m not totally familiar with the Tailor Page Builder, but I am familiar with WPML. The best way to translate content that is created with a page builder is to duplicate the page, and then click the button “Translate Independently” to translate the content. Try that and see if the Tailer elements show up, and if not, you can always open a support ticket at https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/. I hope this helps ??

    Thanks, Lauren.

I have the opposite problem in that I know Tailor, but not WPML.

Please let me know if the advice from Lauren above doesn’t work for you and I’ll be happy to look into it further for you.

    Cheers,
    Andrew.

Thanks Andrew and Lauren for your answers.

It has worked for me by duplicating the pages and then than translate them independently.

But there was also a survey by WPML about page builders and I’ve voted for Tailor! ?? They will soon support different page builders with a translate option of every “element” created with a page builder. This should be much easier and convenient for users.

    Best,
    Michael
