multilingual Reading settings

  • Hi,

    i have Workality Lite theme v 1.3.1 and Polylang 1.5 installed with English and Russian languages.
    I have a problem with main menu when switching from English to Russian.
    Static home page is impossible to set up for different languages so it point to same location. For English its using Works as main template and for Russian is using BLOG.
    When you set up a static page in one language the other language will default to select. When you try to change it in one language the other language automatically goes into Select which by default points to BLOG and not WORKS as we would like it to do.
    Set up is done in Settings=>Reading=>Front page display.

    Hi!

    Static home page is impossible to set up for different languages so it point to same location.

    As explained in the FAQ, it is possible.

    thanks for a prompt reply.
    Where exactly do i find the redirect as mentioned in FAQ? I’m not able to find it under the language settings.

    In Settings->languages->settings. This option appears only if you use a static front page. The most important part is to translate the static front page defined in settings->reading in all languages.

    Chouby, thanks a lot for your help! its working now.
    but im facing anothet issue that i hope you could help me out with:

    Navigation menu in Works (next post, previous post) for both languages is incorrect. English back and Russian forward when switching between projects, both languages.

    Is it anything i could do about that to fix it?
