multilanguage site can't take the same slug

My site has the multilanguage plugin Polylang. It is in 2 languages now, every language is set to be published with the language subidrectory in url, for ex:

https://www.domain.com/en/
https://www.domain.com/it/

The backend doesn’t take the same slug in url. For ex it avoids to call the page “blog” for both languages. For ex. it doesn’t take:

https://www.domain.com/en/blog
https://www.domain.com/it/blog

But it takes instead
https://www.domain.com/en/blog2
https://www.domain.com/it/blog

So, i have lot of pages with ugly urls.

Is there some way to avoid this?
