Your plugin doesn’t understand other shortcodes? I am using WPMultilang plugin to multilanguage my site content. The multilingual plugin uses the construction [:ru]Авторский магазин Фотокартин <b>Юрия Иващука</b>[:uk]Авторський магазин Фотокартин <b>Юр?я ?ващука</b>[:en]Author’s shop Photopictures <b> Yuri Ivashchuk </b
But when you try to save a shortcode with similar text, it automatically removes some of the content, or displays the shortcodes as text, not a shortcode

    Hi @parkerpr,

    Thanks for using shortcoder.

Shortcoder does not remove any text. It will save as is. There is no logic added in the plugin to do this.

I guess some other plugin is removing the text.

Is it possible to share a screenshot of the editing page before and after saving the shortcode ?

    Thanks,
    Aakash

    Hi @parkerpr,

The content saves and there is no issue. Please see image below.

Looking at your screenshot I can see that the multilingual plugin executed the shortcode. You can only see the “english” text.

I’m not sure why they are tapping into the request and executing it.

Can you please paste [:ru]Авторский магазин Фотокартин <b>Юрия Иващука</b>[:uk]Авторський магазин Фотокартин <b>Юр?я ?ващука</b>[:en]Author’s shop Photopictures <b> Yuri Ivashchuk </b>[:] this in a post (or) page and see if they are executed ? Shortcoder saves content just like how posts/pages are saved.

    Thanks,
    Aakash
