Hi,
Thanks for your message. As also stated in the FAQ, Vik Booking is definitely not the right solution to build a portal with multiple vendors, where each “owner” should be able to manage their listings, bookings, rates and more.
As you may have noticed, Vik Booking is a Booking Engine and PMS for single properties, or for multiple properties but with a unique manager. We count thousands of clients in the Vacation Rentals business field, and most of the times our clients manage several apartments/accommodations, but they don’t need to allow specific users to manage only certain properties.
Even our complementary Vik Channel Manager plugin can support multiple Account IDs for OTAs like Booking or Expedia, and so this would allow to map and sync the accounts of various accommodations onto one single website.
However, the point is that our company is a certified Channel Manager provider listed on the major OTAs worldwide with the name “e4jConnect”, and just like how no OTAs ever offer channel management functionalities, we just cannot provide software capable of creating other OTAs or new competitors.
We do understand that you may not need a Channel Manager for your project, maybe the Booking Engine + PMS would be sufficient, but due to our contracts and mutual agreements with the various OTAs (with which we’ve been working as a certified and premier software partner for years), Vik Booking will never be able to support a multi-vendor structure, I’m sorry.
There are many other plugins that are capable of creating a portal with multiple vendors, but they will never be able to offer directly channel management functionalities for the reasons explained above.
We hope this was helpful!
