multi site with initial set of pages

    I have installed WordPress with Network enabled. I have created a basic website with five pages on the root of the WP multisite.

    When I create new site on this WP setup, each site gets a sample page only. I want user to get set of pages which I have on root website.

    The objective is to give each user a pre-configured website on multi-site network, and user can configure/change it if needed.

    Can someone help me in this?

  • Not really,

    But my best approach would be do to that via plugin or a find a way to automate export / import. I will watch other people’s replies. It will be good to see the possibilities.

    It does exactly what I wanted to have. Make a new WP site from existing site in WP MU.
