• Hi, I hope someone can help with this.
We have a great ecommerce and reference wordpress site now. We are going global and require the same site replicated in each country with a different URL.
Is it possible to setup the existing site for multiple countries and have the various country specific URL’s point to the main site or, have them set up under a completely different wordpress site with the same content.
    Example mydomain.com, mydomain.com.au, mydomain.co.uk, mydomain.co.nz

I think it is bad for SEO to copy a site exactly to another hosting?
Please correct me if I am wrong as I am no expert on this.

Look forward to some answers and advise

  • You can certainly point any or multiple Domains to the same site. Why do you need the same site replicated for each country? Is the content going to be different? Translated?

Thanks for the reply, being a ecommerce site, some products are country specific and the “News/Blog” part would be localised.
Most countries will be english speaking but there will be a few for translation.
