For AirWP Sync, when mapping a field to ‘Tag (post_tag)’, it only brings in the string as ONE tag. Is that correct?

(i did use a formula to ensure comma separation, no spaces. and other methods – always gets treated as ‘one tag’)

When using the source multi-sect field, the tags are indeed separate but display the RecordIDs.

Using a regular ‘multi-select’ source field works as expected to create multiple Tags.

The reason this did not work initially is because I was using a multi-select field that was a table-lookup (this is supported in Pro+, according to Air WP Sync support).

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, when tags are separated by commas, they will be treated as a single tag. However, using a multi-select field will allow you to create multiple separate tags.

In your case, where you were seeing the Record IDs, it is likely because you were using a “Link to another record” or a table-lookup field, as you mentioned. This feature is supported in the PRO+ version, but can’t be mapped with the taxonomies.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please let us know.

    Best regards,
