In fact there is already a plugin to do so “Multiple Roles per User”

    but problem:

when adding a user role to a specific user you can see under user name that AAM detect all user role but you in the backend menu you can access lower user role. By example I do add to a user who have a “customer” role a custom role call “new_user_role” but I can’t access that user role for that specific user and add specific capability.

    Hi onirgoc,

AAM is very conservative to multi-role implementation and does not support it. Instead you would have to create a new role with new set of capabilities and access settings.

If even your user has multiple roles assigned, AAM choose only the first role and work with it.

    Appreciate your interest in AAM.
