    Hey @ischuerg ,

Currently, there is not a way to limit the number of a specific type of ticket that can be sold for a general admission event, even with the GAMP extension. The software is designed to think of general admission as having a limit on the number people attending, rather than the number of ‘types’ of people that are attending. It is designed to think of the entire audience as a whole group, when limiting the number of total tickets.

This is an interesting idea though. I can see the benefit of allowing the limitation of a specific number of tickets to be a certain type, like in the VIP scenario you posed. If we offer a VIP price, we may not have the capacity to offer more than 10 VIP services, and thus would only want to be able to issue 10 VIP tickets.

I will bring the conversation up internally. Perhaps this is an additional feature we could somehow work into the GAMP extension. We are working on several new extensions currently, so if it did get added to the feature list, it would most likely be added to the extension later rather than sooner. That being said, we did just release the OT Seating extension. Perhaps that may be a better fit for your situation, as it does allow the breakdown of ticket pricing by type, as well as being able to assign specific capacities to those types of tickets. Checkout the videos page under Extensions for some videos about the abilities of the seating chart.

    Hope this helps,
    Loushou

    Hello Quadshot-team,

thats nice to hear that you are planning to include this in future releases.
Unfortunately I do need a solution for now, and won’t be able to use your software.

I did write you an additional email.

    Kind regards, Schuerg
