• I tried using this short code via groups:
    [pdb_record groups=”personal” action=”signup-page-3″ submit_button=”Next”]
All the fields were being display despite the “signup” switch being unselected on some.

I figured out that the “signup” switch only works in [pdb_signup].

I’m using [pdb_record fields] as the solution, just thought it would be nice to mention that in the “how to” page: https://xnau.com/creating-multiple-page-forms-in-participants-database/

Thanks, Brian, another approach to controlling field visibility for all public-facing displays is to use field groups, which have their own visibility settings.

    Maybe I’m confused?

    Isn’t this a field group: [pdb_record groups=”personal”]
or is there another short code for what you’re referring to?

Yes, but you said you ended up using the “fields” attribute, so I guessed maybe you didn’t know that groups could be used to control visibility.
