multi-level Country State City cascading

  • Hello,
    I would like to allow site users to select a town starting from the country and selecting in cascade region and town, a multi-level Country State City cascading.
    I could not find anything among the plug-ins to help me,
    does anyone have ideas or advice?

    An Ajax approach would provide the best user experience. You can find generic examples by just searching. Ajax in WP has some unique quirks, generic examples can be adapted to WP.

    The important part is acquiring a proper database of place names from which to query for the next set of places within the selected region. For USA places, the USGS may be a possible resource. Various GIS resources may also be a possibility, though file conversions from GIS formats may be required.
