• I want to create a 3 languages web: catalan, spanish and english, being catalan the main one.

I have three options: to create sub folders (mysite.com/cat…/esp…or /eng), to use translator plugins or to create sub domains.

I don’t like robot translations and besides I’m not going to use the web as a blog but as an information website with just a few articles so I don’t think I need translators for many languages.

As I don’t know how to create sub domains I think sub folders is the best option I have, well the only one. Also because I want to use some SEO optimization with each one of the languages and I want my visitors to be able to find all the articles with its permanent link.
By the way, do you agree with my decission?

I love Customizr but I don’t know how to solve some problems.

    1. When I am in the english web and click on the logo of my page it goes to my homepage in catalan, not the homepage in english.

    2. As Customizr only allows one menu I can’t put my menu in spanish or english in the upper bar so I have to put it in plain text in the middle of the /esp…/eng…/homepage and link all the pages and it doesn’t look very nice. Because of the bar menu in catalan and because of the so simple menu with the links to all the english web. It looks really ugly.

Or I can put it in the widget area (let’s say left for Spanish menu and right for the English one). A mess considering I can’t use this widgets in the main catalan web so I have to maintain it with full width, with no left nor right widget areas… not useful.

As you can see I have done my best with this problem but nothing looks with a minimum of quality.

    3. A minor problem. When I create my first homepage (in catalan) it looks like mysite.com not like mysite.com/cat/home. I can’t put it in a sub folder, in fact I do it in the configuration of the page but it doesn’t looks that way in the URL. Considering all the rest of the problems I’m sure I can endure that.

I would like to have three copies, one per language, independant one to each other, with its own homepage and mainly some solution for the menus.

My questions… Can I do it some way? Is Customizr a theme ready to do what I want? Do I need another theme more flexible? Maybe other themes are ready to do that and not to touch code or create child themes?

I think your answers will be something like edit this theme.css or php or something and… no problem, as far as I love this theme and I prefer not to change it if not necessary. I have no idea about how to do that but I will get information about it in wordpress forums. My question is (apart from being dificult or easy) if it’s possible or not to do it the way I want with Customizr.

Any suggestion will be really apreciated. Thanks to all.
