Multi Language site

    Wich plugin is compatible with the bento theme to use multi language site?
    Because every plugin i tried works but when i change something in english it will also be changed on netherlands. So on home i type hello on the english tab. and then it will put hello on the netherlands tab.

    Hello @handsome1987,
    Bento implements the current best practices when it comes to translation-compatibility, like wrapping all text strings in proper template tags. If you want to translate the entire theme, including the admin, you can try a combination of Polylang and a POedit file (you will need to prepare the latter yourself, as Bento currently doesn’t have an NL translation just yet).

    Alternatively, if you’re just looking to translate a couple of theme-defined strings on the front-end like “Search” for the search bar widget, you can use e.g. Loco.

    Please note that in any case you will need to create translations for each piece of user-defined content such as posts and pages – this is how WP works in terms of localization.
