• Hi! I’m working on a multi-language website using PolyLang for WooCommerce, and I have two questions:

    1. Is it possible to add translations to the attributes lists so that they appear in the correct language?
    2. As I didn’t find a way for the above, I was creating a translated block for the other language, but when selecting products for which a block is available, the products not in the default language are not appearing. Categories apper in all languages, instead. Is there a way to have a complete list of products in the drop down list?

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

    Hello there!

I’m sorry, but we have never tested the plugin with Polylang, we are sure only that is compatible with WPML.

We remain at your disposal for any other doubts.

    Have a nice day!

Thank you for your reply, Vanesa.

No problem for that, but is there a way to have the scroll down list to select the product assigned to the block to include all the products in the database? Looks like the query generates it by skipping the products with a different language.

    Best regards,

    Paolo

    Hi there,

About your question, the plugin should show all the products in the site, but it’s possible the Polylang plugin is filtering the results depending on the current language.

So you should check this issue with the developer of that plugin. Keep in mind that, as my colleague mentioned, the plugin doesn’t have an integration with Polylang.

    We’ll remain at your disposal.

    Hi!

Regarding point 2 in the original post I just found out that the drop down for the products lists only the products in the language set for the backoffice, while the drop down for the categories lists them all, independently from the language set. It doesn’t look like a behavior due to PolyLang.

Anyway, as a turnaround by switching the backoffice language allows me to list the products in the different languages, so I can apply the translations to the correct products.
