    Hello.
I have a multi language booking calendar and the language used in the calendar is fixed at english.
If i add the same calendar to the content instead it will change the text to danish (main language).
Therefore i assume that it is a custom sidebar problem.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello @chrl

    Hope you are well!

Please run a quick test, deactivate all the other plugins, except the Custom SideBars and booking plugin that you are using, and try to replicate the issue.

Also please let us know what booking and multilanguage plugins you are using.

The multilanguage plugin might overwrite the widget’s settings. Would you please deactivate the Custom Sidebars, and add a calendar widget to a default sidebar. Add the calendar into a page and see if you can replicate the same.

    Please advice

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

I tried both your suggestions and i have even deactivated the custom sidebar plugin. Still stays in english. I added the same calendar to this page: https://chrl.dk/?page_id=125, where it stays in english in the sidebar and are in the right language in the page.

Kinda confused. Im using Polylang for multi language and WP Booking System.

Even if a pick Danish as the language in the widget, it stays in english.

    Hello @chrl

    Trust all is well!

I’ve tested the Custom Sidebars with Polylang plugin and with WP Booking System and can’t replicate the same. Once a language is set to English in WP Booking System widget it remains the same after switching the language. The widget changing languages only if “Auto (let WP choose)” is selected.

Thank you for using Custom Sidebars. I am going to close this topic because it was moved to email. If we are unable to find a solution we can reopen the thread.
