    Hello,

We have created some e-learning courses in Spanish with LearnPress (fantastic plugin!), and we were able to successfully translate everything to Spanish (using Loco Translate, as per your recommendation). Now, we have created an e-learning course in English, and we would like the page and course interface to also appear in English. Although Loco Translate is working perfectly with all of the other web pages, we cannot figure out how to get it to work with the LearnPress courses pages. In other words, when someone is looking at the site in English and they click on “e-learning courses”, the page and course there should also appear in English (it is only appearing in Spanish right now). I even changed our website language to English, but it made no difference.

Could you please help us? What do we have to do to have our Spanish courses appear with the Spanish translations and our English courses appear with the English translations?

    We appreciate your support!

  • Hi,

You can try using Polylang or WPML plugin to set multiple language for your site.

    Hi Hadam,

Thank you for your quick response!

Our website is already set up to have multiple languages, it is just the LearnPress courses that are not working with the multiple languages. Even though I have changed our site language to English, the course is still appearing in Spanish. Is there something else we need to do? I used Polylang before, but after reading forums for LearnPress I saw that Loco Translate was recommended, so we switched to Loco Translate. Why do you now recommend Polylang over Loco Translate?

In a nutshell, we have three course categories (two are for Spanish courses, one for English courses). We have each of these course categories on three separate pages. We want these pages to appear in Spanish (they currently do): https://www.nkqualitas.com/course-category/cursos-de-atlasti/
    https://www.nkqualitas.com/course-category/cursos-de-investigacion-cualitativa/

And we want this page to appear in English (they are currently still in Spanish):
    https://www.nkqualitas.com/course-category/qualitative-research-courses/

If we could identify/edit these pages from the WordPress dashboard (as is done with any other webpage), I feel we could get the translations correctly working. Could you please guide us in identifying where these course category pages are so that we can edit them?

    Hi,

I have been working with this and trying to figure out how to set the translations, and I just wanted to follow up:

From what I understand, LearnPress allows only one page for course archives (and this page can only appear in Spanish for some reason, even though the website is set to English). That’s not necessarily a problem, but then how can we set different languages for the category pages? Where can we find the category pages? If I could just set the language for each of the categories, I think that would resolve the problem.

    I really appreciate your support!

    Hi,

With this case, we need more information to check it carefully. Please create a new topic on our forum https://thimpress.com/forums/forum/plugins/learnpress-plugin so we can help you check it.

    Hi Hadam,

Thank you for your message. I have posted the question in your forum: https://thimpress.com/forums/topic/multi-language-not-working-courses-in-english-and-spanish/

Hi ivanawordpress, Let me ask if the above problem you have solved yet. I am using Polylang to support many languages, but my learnpress is not supported. How did you solve it. More thanks for your feedback.
