• Hi People,

I am working on some wp site and I would like to make it multi-language. English, Serbian, Hungarian… I don’t want to implement automatic translators (like google translator), because they are bad. I want to build pages my self.

I couldn’t find plugin for this, so I have only one idea on my mind. To make separate platforms on different subdomens, like:
    en.somesite.com
    hu.somesite.com

… but I don’t want to do that.

I what pages on the same domen, like:
    somedomen.com/en/product-1
    somedomen.com/hu/some-hungarian-text
    somedomen.com/sr/proizvod-1

And I want good management system for that.

Does anybody have idea how to resolve this problem?

  • I encounter the same problem. Is there any kind man to give some tips?

    Hi,

I’m working for a client were we are developing a custom theme in English. Now they want to roll out 5 different language/country sites in an efficient way.

I’m wondering if it makes sense to use the same WordPress install/DB to try to manage these (all have small but important differences in content and forms, etc.)

Seems it may just be easier to reinstall the Worpress site 5 different times and manage each separately… am I missing something obvious?

    Thanks
