    Hello,
I have been using woocommerce for years, every time I encounter problems with sending multiple emails, i.e. multiple email addresses divided by commas, set in the woocommerce email settings.

As a rule, I always insert a plugin to set up SMTP, so I never have problems sending emails. However, emails set on woocommerce always have the same problem, sending always occurs only for the first email.
This happens with any woocommerce installation.
I have also tried various SMTP plugins over time, I always encounter the same problem with woocommerce.

Do you think it’s a woocommerce error, or related to sending emails using SMTP? Do you recommend one in particular for commerce?

Searching the web, it seems like a widespread problem, plugins have also been created for this.

    Thank you

  • Hi there @woodypad,

If I understand you correctly, you are having concerns about not being able to send multiple emails from your WooCommerce email settings. IS that correct?

Sending emails to multiple recipients is a known limitation with WooCommerce. WooCommerce only sends the notification email to the first email address listed in the settings, ignoring the rest.

However, we recommend using a third-party plugin to help achieve this. You can check out the different email plugins in the www.remarpro.com plugin repository based on your specific needs.

I hope this helps clears any confusion.

    Hi Ckadenge,
    thanks for your reply.

In fact, I had noticed it.
However, in the woocommerce settings it is written to enter multiple emails separated by a comma. This is misleading, and it sounds like a conflict.
Perhaps you could specify better that it is possible to do this, but woocommerce does not support it.

    Thank you

    ?? hey @woodypad

I can confirm that the core WooCommerce functionality, coupled with a dedicated SMTP provider (related documentation linked here), sends notification emails successfully to more than the first email address (in the screen at WooCommerce > Settings > Emails).

From what I gather, this is not the experience at your site, though. To clarify, since something doesn’t seem to be sending correctly, did you already have a chance to install the?WP Mail Logging Plugin, and see what is reported, or otherwise?

We look forward to your response. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
