Hi. I’m liking your plugin so far! I’m trying to add some type of multidimensional arrays to my form.

Basically, I need some subsets asking identical questions. After adding them however, they show up (as expected) listed individually in the advanced search form.

    If I want to ask:

    Subset 1
    Name
    Phone
    Email

    Subset 2
    Name
    Phone
    Email

    Subset 3
    Name
    Phone
    Email

Is there a way to do this in your plugin so that the user can search for “name” or “phone” for example and not have to enter a subset? Also, I don’t want each subset to be listed in the advanced search form as it would be really long…

    Thanks

    Hi rwilki,

The fields don’t really support this today, unfortunately. This would require some fairly extensive hacking to add in on your part. It’s not a quick or easy thing to do with BD right now.

Can I ask what the goal of your listing form is here? Perhaps I can suggest something else that may work instead?

Thanks for your reply. I’m looking to have repeated questions in a certain array.

    For example…
    Contact 1:
    Name
    Phone
    Email

    Contact 2:
    Name
    Phone
    Email

etc… So, I don’t want people searching by Contact 1 or Contact 2, but rather by Name, Phone, Email.

    Does this make sense?

I see what you’re doing–there’s no easy way to do that, you’ll have to add each field manually on the Form Fields screen but there’s no way to “group” them visually or logically in the plugin.
