My feed is setup to display in grouped List View, 7 days at a time q/ Previous/next buttons.

    Event builder code:

    [if-all-day]
    [link][event-title][/link] – All day
    [/if-all-day]

If the last day of the 7 day list part of a multi-day event, it repeatedly list the Event-title for the number of remaining days. Hitting next to get to the next 7 days, shows all the days but no event titles.

Can you link me to an example so I can check it out please?

    Thanks!

I’m getting the same thing. If you visit https://www.vhcaonline.com and look at the “upcoming events” you will see “Thanksgiving Recess (NO SCHOOL)” listed under November 26th, and November 27th twice, and if you click next there is nothing under November 28th. In the calendar, it is an all day event that starts November 26th and ends November 28th.

For a more extreme example, go forward until you hit december 24th/25th for Christmas Recess.

If you look at the full calendar view at https://www.vhcaonline.com/?gce_feed=vhca-school-calendar it does display properly there…

    Thanks!

Also a school site – https://www.sacredheart.org/School. The widget is about 1/2 down on the right. Scroll to Thanksgiving or Christmas break.

Is your option for “Show multiple day events on same day” option checked in the feed settings?

Did some work with Multiple Day Events recently. Please let me know if you are still having issues after the most recent update.

    Thanks

Updated to Version 2.1.4 and still have the same issues.

Sorry but could you try updating to the most recent version and see if it helps. I did some more work in this area and want to see if it helped your issue.

    Thanks!

Works somewhat better now. Dates are show for the multi-day events. The one thing that doesn’t appear to work is the Next/Previous navigation and the # of days to show. All the days for the event are shown and it doesn’t break them up. For example, I have mine set at 7 days. Christmas Break is 2.5 weeks long. All the days show up in the same groupings and aren’t broken up into 7 day chunks.

    You mean something like:

    December 20
    December 21
    December 22
    Winter Break

    Instead of:

    December 20
    Winter Break
    December 21
    Winter Break
    December 22
    Winter Break

    Is that correct?

The way it is currently is what I would prefer:

    December 20
    Winter Break
    December 21
    Winter Break

The problem is when I have things grouped to show things in 7 day chunks, the first day in the multiday event, it shows all 14 days of the break in the list. I would expect to see Dec 20-Dec27 displayed and then when you select next, you’d see the next 7 days of break.

Additionally, break starts on Dec 20th and when I view the widget today, no events are listed after Dec 19 until Jan 6.

Ok thanks for the additional info, just wanted to make sure we are on the same page. We also just released 2.1.7 so be sure to try that out if you haven’t.

I will look into this to see if I can nail down why that is happening for you.

Thanks so much for your patience!

With 2.1.7, I still see the same behavior.

Does this still happen if you disable your other plugins and use a default theme?

I haven’t been able to replicate this in my tests so far so just trying to narrow it down as much as possible.

Thanks for your patience on this issue!

Did a fresh install of WordPress 4.1 on a test site with the default theme. Deactivated all the plugins. Added the Google Calendar. Setup the calendar the same as my production site. Same problem occur. Since Christmas Break is over, the next time I see this on our current feed is in April with Spring Break.
