I think what I am trying to say is that at the moment I get the box output but that they are one under the other as a list. Is see in the documentation it mentions a grid. How do I get that output instead using the downloads shortcode.

    Hey,

This is possible but will require custom development from your side. There are multiple way to do this. Two example:

    1. Wrap the downloads shortcode in <div> tags per category.
    2. Write custom PHP and output there, example: https://www.download-monitor.com/kb/segment-downloads-by-category/

In either case this would be considered custom development and unfortunately I can’t help you with that. I suggest you ask your question somewhere created for these kind of questions like wordpress.stackexchange.com or consider hiring a developer.

    Kind Regards,

Hi Barry, yes the category thing seems a easy workaround. I’m not sure if this was part of your fix but just to clarify things if it makes any difference. I don’t need the downloads separated by category I would just like them all arranged differently on the page, rather than one long list. I can’t find it now but I’m sure I saw something in the documentation about a grid.
    Thanks
    Stu
