• This is the BEST and EASIEST plugin that I have used for SSL! The other ones that I have tried were such a pain in the butt! With just a few clicks, Really Simple SSL was setup and working properly!

BUT!!! I just recently wanted to add a sub-domain to my site that is the “main domain” for my hosting account that has multiple websites that DO NOT use Really Simple SSL. I could not use the new sub-domains for anything because Really Simple SSL automatically forwarded ALL my domains through the .htaccess file to HTTPS.

The only way I could use my new sub-domain and to setup anything! Was to deactivate Really Simple SSL, then Delete it, THEN delete the .htaccess files from the server and start with fresh ones.

Now I WILL reinstall Really Simple SSL, but I wanted to warn about this problem so that you don’t go through everything I did trying to fix this BEFORE I realized it was Really Simple SSL causing the problem.
