Hi, thanks for this great plugin, it has helped me so many times!

Recently I started using the mu-plugin folder, but I just noticed String Locator doesn’t pick that up – is this on your road map at all?

    Thanks heaps!

    Hiya,

That’s a good question, and not something I had thought of. For now, using the WordPress directory search will also look in mu-plugins.

Ah, good point, that will work. Thanks for your reply.

I’ve put the (in my opinion awesome) plugin Code Snippets inside the mu-plugins folder, to keep the management of it away from others =)

Would be great if String Locator could navigate there directly – as a search on the whole wordpress directory (from memory) also searches my backups stored on the server and can take quite a long time.

And it would help me see errors in my own code additions.

Thanks for looking at this =)

2.2.0 includes a specific section for MU-Plugins in the same manner other plugins and themes are listed (when applicable).

I’m afraid I won’t be adding specific directory navigation, that’s an unnecessary complexity that doesn’t fall in line with the plugin vision I’m afraid.
