I am building a new site on bluehost, and noticed a plugin in the mu-plugin folder I didn’t install (sso.php).
the info at the top of the plugin is
    Plugin Name: SSO
    Author: Garth Mortensen, Mike Hansen
    Version: 0.1
    License: GPLv2 or later
    License URI: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
I googled the authors and find they are employed by bluehost, so asked bluehost about. They advise following:
“Ok. Looks like that file came from wordpress not from here. It’s one of the wordpress core files. Our dev’s wrote it, but it was distributed through wordpress, not through bluehost.”
Does anybody know anything about this?
    Thanks

  • Just noticed the same thing on one of my sites – it appears the if you use the one-click install from Justhost you also get the SSO plugin. Since Justhost uses the MOJO marketplace, I guess that makes sense from what I read here. Wish they had told me about this!! Thanks to all the research by the people above!

How do you DELETE this plugin? i understand will come back when reuse Mojo marketplace, there is no delete button and it the only plugin labeled “must use” Since noticing this plugin just now embedded on my site I have to update the framework to the same latest version every 2 days for my header to show properly and my home slider to show at all. I need to find out if this is causing the problem and also like others i resent it being placed there without my permission – already costing me extra work, time

    Thanks!!
