Okay, this is really weird.. for some reason, the plugin just disappeared from my plugins list. So now my quiz pages are “down”.. I mean, all that’s showing are the shortcodes for the quizzes. See here: https://www.uberdigests.info/quiz-on-donors-tax/.

I never deleted the plugin. I tried reinstalling but I can’t because whenever I tried to there’s no “Install Now” link only “Details” link will show – so it-s as if it’s saying that the plugin is still currently installed although I can’t see it. My guess is that it may be conflicting with something on my website.. Anybody experienced the same issue?? Will try to resolve on my end but if anyone encountered this before, I’d appreciate your help.

It seems that the plugin is currently installed because there’s still a mtouch directory on my cpanel. I tried deactivating all plugins and see if that’ll fix the issue but still nothing.

I downloaded and tried a manual install but since the directory already exists, I can’t install the plugin. It seems that the last time someone successfully finished a quiz was on August 13, 2014 (I know because I left a form on the quiz pages urging people to submit their quiz results, and the 13th was the last time someone submitted their score.. so I’m thinking that was also the last time the quiz plugin was running perfectly).

I don’t think another plugin is causing the issue because I deactivated all other plugins but still the mtouch plugin won’t show up on the wordpress plugins dashboard. My question now is, if I deleted the mtouch quiz directory on my cpanel, will it deleted all the quizzes I have made so far? I’m planning to delete the directory so that I can reinstall manually but the thing is, I’m afraid all saved quizzes will be deleted too.

Finally resolved this. I deleted the mtouchquiz directory from my plugins directory on my cpanel. After that I reinstalled it via wordpress dashboard and voila, it’s already working. My quiz database is also intact so all quizzes are okay. I still don’t know what caused the issue though but I’m glad my quizzes are all back.
