• I’m experiencing something odd this morning with my blog. It seems that those posts that have no comments bring up the normal comments window. However, with those posts that have comments, I am not able to get in and make a comment. I am not sure what could be causing this. I am wondering if the mtdewvirus plugin has a feature that blocks the ability to make comments at a certain point or for some reason? I am only guessing here and this could be completely wrong.

  • I’d doubt it’s the plugin – I’ve been using those particular ones since they were released.

It could be the placement of the code for the last-visit plugin based on this error I just got:
    lvShowNewIndicator(
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql2timestamp() in /home/wumpc14/public_html/wumpblog/wp-comments.php on line 39

I can’t figure out why it those comments with posts aren’t allowing me to comment. I’m going to run over to another computer lab and see if there’s something odd with my particular work station that is causing this. Otherwise I really am not sure what it is as comments were working previously.

This problem seems to persist regardless of what computer I am on. I just tested out creating a comment on a post that had no comments previously. That worked. Then I tried to comment again on the same post and could not access a comment screen (I was only able to see the post and the single comment that had been made).

I’m sure it is the error I pointed out above, and is caused by either the placement of the last-visit code, or by part of that code not being called.
That’s uncommented why new posts are unaffacted.

Podz, thanks for locating the problem. Everything appears to be working now.

    Good stuff ??
