Meta Slider not full width on mobile devices

    On my site (https://www.moinhosdodao.org) I am using Meta Slider and Estate theme. For some reason of which I cannot figure out, the slider will not adjust to Full Size on mobile devices (phone/pad) but does so on full browser.

    The theme Estate comes with a default 1040px width for the Layout/#Main. I wanted to change that to 1200px, so I did. But since that change, the Slider will not adjust to Full Width on mobile.

    I’ve gone ahead and adjusted all the places in the .css that show a 1040px width to 1200px, but that solves nothing.

    Is there special .css code for Meta Slider that determines a default width that I’m just not seeing/finding? And, does Meta Slider somehow format to the Estate theme default width, via some Code reference, and I’m not seeing that either?

  • Hi there,

    This question might be better answered by the theme developer as they will have better knowledge of how to make customisations.

    Changing the width might be problematic as it could be that the theme is designed to be responsive (again the theme developer will know this) so your customisation could be conflicting with the theme.

    Happy to take another look if there’s still an issue afterwards.

    Hello! Thank you for the response. Yes, it is a good advice, and I will follow up with the developer of Estate.

    I neglected to add that in my trying to make the Meta Slider adjust full screen on mobile devices, I am able to get the Navigation and a custom Div—both below and above the Slider—to adjust to full screen (well, essentially a set width). But the Meta Slider seems locked out to me.

    I will keep searching and asking to see what code for custom edits of the Header/masthead are needed for responsive themes. Cheers.
