MS not showing on front page

  • I have MS set to show on my posts and front page, but it is only showing on posts. It is set to have ON showing in blue. Just to make sure I was not mixing up on and off, I also tried with it off and grayed out and that did not help. Thanks for your help.

    I don’t have any add-ons. I previously had the Pinterest share, which I realized was still installed but deactivated, so I deleted both that and the main MS plugin. Then I emptied the cache and reinstalled MS, still not showing on front page.

    if your frontpage is a blog listing page and not a single post or page MashShare can not be injected there automatically. You would need to enter the mashshare shortcode by using <?php echo do_shortcode('[mashshare]'); ?> into your frontpage theme file.

    Alternatively you need one of our Add-ons like the sticky share bar or the floating sidebar add-on. These add-ons allows you to add floating share buttons to the front page without any manual theme modifications even on blog listing pages.

    May i ask you what you mean by “you previously had the pinterest share”?
    So you were using our MashShare network add-on previously?
