Hello and apologies if this has been answered, I did look but I am finding it hard to understand what to do.

My products are art and are exempt from GTIN.

I have set up ‘Brand’ and ‘Manufacturer’ in ‘Product Attributes’ and set both as my name ‘AJ Wellburn’

I have then Field Maped g:brand, g:mpn and g:gtin to ‘Brand (Dynamic attribute)

Google Merchant Centre still gives me ‘Incorrect product identifier [gtin], Invalid value [gtin]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

When you sell art you will have to make sure that you also map your WooCommerce categories to the proper art Google categories.

With regards to your GTIN’s. You can best leave those empty as they are not required for you anyhow. The ‘AJ Wellburn’ that you added to your GTIN field now is not an officially accepted GTIN format and that is why you are seeing the warning in your merchant center.

I’m still having issues with this. Can I quickly check the feed after I make a change or must I wait 1 hour for it to update?

I have mapped all my categories as 9 – Home & Garden > Decor > Artwork. Is that all I need to do or do I also need to map this in the Field mapping?

I have deleted the mapping for GTIN that was set to Brand but it is still showing my brand rather than blank.

When you make changes to your feed configuration you always need to manually reprocess the feed so you can’t “quickly” check without such a refresh.

Could you share the plugin debug.log with us? It will help us understand how you have configured your product feed. Instructions on how to retrieve the debug.log can be found here: https://adtribes.io/send-your-debug-log-to-support/?swcfpc=1

    Hi,
