    Hi,

I wanted to test your MPG plugin before to take a subscription, but i have a problem with wp comments on created pages. When they comment, the url is not persisted with the {{mpg_xxxx}} values. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong in the page template or if there is a solution for it.

I have tried with and without / at the end of the url without success.

I leave you a url that is working correctly…

    https://www.matriculashistoricas.com/gc20027/

… but when making a comment the values ??of {{mpg_xxxx}} are lost:

    https://www.matriculashistoricas.com/mpg_matricula/#comment-27

And second related question, I see that the comments appear in all urls without differentiating if they have been made from one url or another. That is, the comments are associated with the template that is used with MPG and not with the url… is that correct?

    Regards,
    Alejandro.

  • Hi @abarth124rally,

    Thanks for choosing MPG!

Could you please provide us the steps needed to replicate the issue on our test instances?

    Thank you!

Good afternoon Lucia, thank you very much for your support.

Sorry, the links in the original query are no longer active due to ongoing development of the project. I update them and reproduce the bugs.

The first problem is that when commenting a page created by MPG it does not save the data of the variables of the MPG table… let me explain:

    Example MPG URL: https://www.matriculahistoricas.com/matricula/tf13711/

When confirming the comment, it does not save data {{mpg_XXX}} in the url. I leave the comments activated in case you want to try…

The second one is not a problem, it’s a query… I see that the comments appear in all the MPG urls without differentiating if they have been made from one or another url. That is, the comments are associated with the template that is used with MPG and not with the url… that does not make individual comments possible, is it? Could you comment by MPG url and not by MPG template?

    Best regard.

I correct the url of the previous post:

    https://www.matriculashistoricas.com/matricula/tf13711/

    I’m sorry…

I correct the url of the previous post:

    https://www.matriculashistoricas.com/matricula-tf13711/

I’m sorry, we are applying different changes…

    Hi @abarth124rally,

    Thanks for the details!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to submit comments on the pages generated with MPG, it’s not designed to work this way. That’s why it doesn’t work properly on your end. Also, the URL appears that way because MPG creates virtual pages, not actual pages, so only the template will appear in the URL.

Thanks for understanding and have a nice day!
