  • Hi s3w47m88, FancyBox does not ‘support’ anything. It depends on your browser. What FancyBox does is changing the way media files (images, documents, sound and video) are presented. So if you have got mp4 working on your site, you can use FancyBox to present that in a lightbox overlay…

    In your case, you could use class “fancybox-inline” for these external links to the raw MP4 files. Then it’s up to the browser what to do with that. Modern browsers will present an HTML5 player, older browsers will probably either just play the file (without any controls visible) or present it as a download.

    If you want to make sure everybody gets to see a player, then you might need to jump through some more hoops. Or use an external provider like Youtube or Soundcloud and use their ‘share/iframe-embed URL’.
