    I have tried this plugin to remove the internal check but it is still giving me the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    The “mp3” is already set by WordPress core.
    Please set the following value in the plugin setting (Settings > Mime Type Settings).

    mp3|m4a|m4b = audio/mpeg
