MP3-Jplayer

I’ve been on the prowl the past week for a plugin that would play a radio stream from a webpage. The free ones I found either were fully flash, fully html5, or were ad-driven. No bueno.

I found MP3-JPlayer, but was having some difficulty getting it to work. Simon’s support was great. I’ll be discussing accessibility tweaks w/him, as he is most receptive.

If anyone needs a plugin to play an Icecast stream, as well as a folder of mp3’s or single ones, for that matter, this 1 should meet your requirements. In fact, I think I’ll go see if Mr. Ward has a Paypal link in order to reward his efforts. If you use the plugin, please do likewise–&–no, I have no affiliation w/him.
