• Hi everyone.
I wonder if moving all the core files to a sub-directory as explained in this video:

How To Move Your WordPress Core Files Out Of Root
    Is supported for WordPress Multisite?

Or is it only supported on single/standalone WordPress Installations?

If yes, is there any issues that could arise with this configuration in terms of plugin /themes etc?

    Thanks a bunch! ??

On this page of the codex, it says that multisites that were created as of version 3.5 or above can move the core files location.

I’ve never done it, and I’m not sure why you would want to. Remember that multisite networks are more complex to manage than a single site, and this may add to that complexity.

It’s mainly for security reasons. If the files are not there, then the black hacker/script kiddy can’t find then, right?

I kinda paranoid about security and moving the core files seems like a good idea. The more you obscure the installation the harder it will be to hack it. (at least in theory).
