Moving wp-files out of sub dir when index is in the root.

I developed my site in a sub directory and moved the index.php to the root directory, thinking that would be the easiest thing to do… except search the reported URL is phoby3.com/newblog which seems a bit silly. So how would I move the files in the sub directory into the root. This is a scenario that doesn’t seem to addressed anywhere unless I missed it.
