Moving WP but keeping the same domain

    I also found this guide but didn’t manage to get this working… Probably something to do with the .htaccess file. Mow ??

    delete the default godaddy index.html from root so wordpress’ index.php can work

    I found out why it was not working: because I moved the index.php and .htaccess files to the root folder instead of copy and paste them. I didn’t think they had to be in both the root folder AND the subdirectory.

    they are only supposed to be in root
